appointment is under the Colonial Government

and your emoluments will be paid solely from

the funds of the Colony.

If you are prepared to accept the

appointment on these conditions, you should

take an early opportunity ofpresenting

present yourself to one of the Medical Ad-

visers of this Department, whose names are

given on the enclosed letter, for the purpose

of being medically examined,, and he will

send his report direct to this Department.

The fee will be paid by the Crown Agents for

the Colonies; and if

to travel by rail for the

necessary for you

examination, your 3rd class return fare will

be refunded to you on your informing this

Department of the amount.

If finally selected for the

appointment, you will be provided with a free

first class passage to the Colony by a steamer other than a mast steamer,
